"Once you've been through something like this, you feel like the possibilities for growth are endless. A wonderful program - worthwhile!"
"This was a great experience, and the friendships and sense of connectedness the program fosters were a big influence on my decision to give up international teaching and focus on living in Maine and becoming more actively involved in Midcoast Maine."
Midcoast Maine is a unique region, rich with spirit, creativity, and tradition. We, as a community, need to nourish its promise. All citizens of the region benefit from efforts to further develop the skills of existing and emerging leaders with the capacity to positively impact the success of the greater Midcoast. Individuals from Knox and Waldo counties participating in this program will work together to sharpen and develop effective leadership skills, broaden their understanding of issues affecting the region, expand the network of committed regional leaders, and participate in a bright future for Midcoast Maine
To positively impact the economic and cultural quality of life in Midcoast Maine by enhancing the professional and personal development of existing and emerging community leaders
