Midcoast Maine is a unique region, rich with spirit, creativity, and tradition. We, as a community, need to nourish its promise.
All citizens of the region will benefit from efforts to further develop the knowledge and skills of existing and emerging community leaders who have the capacity to positively impact the success of the greater Midcoast.
Individuals from Knox and Waldo counties participating in this program will work together to sharpen and develop effective leadership skills, broaden their understanding of issues affecting the region, expand the network of committed regional leaders, and participate in a bright future for Midcoast Maine

"Once you've been through something like this, you feel like the possibilities for growth are endless. A wonderful program - worthwhile!"
Midcoast Leadership Academy's 10th program year (MLA10) has been put on "pause" until the fall of 2020.
We regret that we will not be accepting applications for MLA11 until the summer of 2021, with an anticipated program start date of September 2021.
Our focus during the pandemic and until the summer of 2021 will be alumni engagement and the completion of MLA10.
